Cartridges can be repeatedly steam sterilized in situ, autoclaved at up to 135°C, or sanitized with hot water at up to 90°C. Capsules can be repeatedly autoclaved up to 135°C.

Resistant even in aggressive solutions

ULTA Prime PP liquid prefilter capsules are used for the clarification and prefiltration of a wide range of products in the biopharmaceutical industry. The all-polypropylene construction ensures a broad range of chemical compatibility making ULTA Prime PP capsules particularly suitable for the filtration of aggressive and viscous chemicals and solvents. They do not suffer from hydrolysis in aggressive solutions, which would result in the contamination of the process fluid.

Progressive retention built in

The filter media of continuously graded fiber density provides progressively finer particulate retention throughout the depth of the media. This combined with optimized media pleating density gives ULTA Cap PP capsules exceptional lifetime performance.
