The iCELLis Nano single-use bioreactor is made up of a 1 L polycarbonate (PC) vessel in which a fixed-bed (FB) is fitted. The FB is filled with carriers and is available at heights of 2, 4, and 10 cm. For each bed height, two carrier compactions are available: compaction 1 or compaction 1.5. The compaction refers to the density of carriers per volume (96 or 144 g/L). Therefore, six sizes of iCELLis Nano+ bioreactors are available.
