The SUPRAdisc™ II module design combines the filtration performance of Seitz™ media and the structural robustness of interlocking dual drainage plates. The dual drainage plate design of the SUPRAdisc™ II depth filter module optimizes the flow distribution by providing unobstructed process flow.
Improved structural robustness due to dual drainage plates.
Optimized flow distribution upstream and downstream of the filter sheets maximizes filter utilization.
Filter media is less susceptible to blinding from media-to-media contact within the module assembly.
Fully supported filter sheets inhibit the rupturing of filter media frequently associated with back pressure.
Highest packing density minimizes hold up volume.
Steam sterilizable at 125°C for 30 minutes.
All plastic components used in construction meet the specifications for the biological test listed in the current version of the USP Class VI 121°C.
Fully traceable by serial number.
SUPRAdisc™ module filter media
All pharmaceutical grade depth filter sheets can readily be incorporated into SUPRAdisc™ II modules.
Seitz™ P-series
Seitz™ P-series depth filter sheets were specifically developed for the strict requirements in biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries. Manufactured with stringent in-process control methods assures consistent filtration quality, a very high purity of filter medium, and alignment with the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Seitz™ Bio-series
Seitz™ Bio-series depth filter sheets are specially developed from highly purified natural and modified cellulose fibers and contain no inorganic materials such as diatomaceous earth (DE), perlite or glass fibers. The lack of these inorganic substances significantly reduces the levels of ash and heavy metal extractables.

Seitz™ HP-series
Seitz™ HP-series depth filter sheets are comprised of two distinct layers of Seitz™ P-series depth filter sheets; a coarser layer upstream followed by a finer layer downstream. These performance-enhanced depth filter sheets have been designed for use in low viability, high solids containing applications. As small shifts in process conditions can cause dramatic differences in filtration requirements, the flexibility of combining any combination of P-series media in an HP format allows for improved process optimization.
High quality and FDA conformity
The filter sheets meet the specifications set forth in the US Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, parts 177.2260 e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l. The materials for all plastic components are listed in US Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, part 177.1520.
