Prefilter layer for increased throughput

The optimized ULTA Pure MR membrane configuration features a highly asymmetric membrane prefilter layer, which significantly extends throughput and prevents problems associated with premature filter blockage with complex solutions. The integral prefilter layer can also enable compression of filter trains for improved economy on a wide variety of intermediate and final sterilizing applications.

High capacity, low extractables

ULTA Pure MR cartridge filters are high capacity and fast flowing. The inherent low protein binding properties of the MR membrane minimize product loss due to adsorption. The filters have low extractable levels and broad chemical compatibility. The membrane is inherently hydrophilic and the filters can be easily and repeatedly integrity tested.
