Part# 5226

The use of adapter collar (part number 5226) is recommended when using a filter plate with a PCR plate in a centrifuge.

The adapter collar is placed on top of the PCR plate, with filter plate above. The adapter collar ensures that neither the filter plate or receiver plate will shift during centrifugation and ensuring the outlet tips remain centered over the receiver plate wells.

This adapter collar has been designed specifically for use with PCR plates which typically have smaller outer dimensions to standard receiver plates. The use of an adapter collar will reduce alignment issues and prevent unwanted leakages.
