Fluorodyne™ II grade DFL filters, a Pall Life Sciences product, are 0.2 micron-rated sterilizing grade filters.
Fluorodyne II grade DFL filters retain B. diminuta (ATCC 19146) at 107 CFU/cm2 effective filter area. Featuring a polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF) dual layer membrane, they permit low extractables and adsorption. They are recommended in particular for the sterilizing filtration of low-fouling pharmaceutical process fluids during formulation and filling.
